Lee Boon Yap first hash was with PJ Hazards and joined PJ Hazards in 1998 and was introduced by former GH5 member Kopitiam, the former operator of New Sea View Restaurant/Kopitiam. Popeye was the former Deputy Grand Hazards for one term in the earlier years. Popeye had also held various committee positions in GH5 over the years, he joined GH5 in 1999. His Hash name Popeye was given by the late Bear when he smoke a pipe like Popeye. His the other half is Olive. Popeye is involved in leisure and entertainment industry.

Today's run was 4.66Km in distance, the in trail was set along the surveying route and that means more Bungalow lot will be coming up in this area, the trail heads towards NS highway and then turn right towards along the highway and more right again to emerged near Section 9 Bungalow area. The total distance was 4.6KM and highest elevation was 160M.

Circle started with GM announcing this is his last week taking the circle, he called out Adam, Silent Gorilla and Piss Stop to sort out the event of previous wek circle when the topic of MH730 because very emotional. Piss Stop was iced for started the subject and both Silent and Adam were given a cool beer to relax. one minute of prayer was offered to the missing MH370 and Left Ball was iced when he make some noisy during the silence. Tau Cheong Sui was iced for not knowing some members' hash name. The run was rated 8.5 points by Hybrid who carried it out brilliantly without fear and favor. GM was iced next when he did not know the run rating. He was iced again by Hare of the day when he did not know if Tau Cheong Sui is a member of GH5. Next Bonsai was iced when his junior broke three checks during the run. GM iced Popeye next for not setting the tun , bribing the run rater, talk too long then the two minutes allocation and ice too many person. The three Buzzard team members of Shitface, PissStop and Left Ball were all on the box and thank the members for supporting them over the years and happily announced their retirement from office, however, they did not know they can be re -appointed! Left Ball first took to the box and punished Tan Sri for always asking for another hill, next was Warlord for being proud after the run and demand for another hill. Piss Stop iced two Founders Bull Dog and Gold Finger. Next was Cartoon when he gave the empty condom box to PissStop. Shitface called the potential GM candidates Silent Gorilla, Push Up and LeftBall to gauge their popularity. Fish Shit was iced as usual for talking during the circle. Gold Finger was iced when he invite Silent to set run with him but Silent said if he comes out late, he may missed the chance to stand in office. the floor was open for members and Bonsai took the box to announced he will accept for any nomination for any post in the committee. The circle ended with food on site with sumptuous curry mee. Thank you to Popeye for the extra beers and food.
