Today's AGM Run had the members turned up in full force. This could be attributed to two main reasons: 1. Members are concern of the incoming committee members. 2. Members had been told to come to vote to ensure their candidates win. At 530PM sharp, election OC Lord was ready with his MAS Captain Hat and Amplifier to ensure all ears were with him. Out going GM Baby Monkey was supposed to give the GM's report but instead start to give support to one GM hopeful candidate and was immediately told by OC he was to give GM's report only. This was follow by On Sec's report and was adopted by the floor. The Account was tabled with discrepancy due to missing bank statements and as such will have a Adjourned AGM on the account and it will be re table after further verification.
The committee was resolved and the OC open the floor for new committee nomination. Kangaroo and Gold Finger was the scrutineer.
The newly elected committee are as follow:-
Grand Master: Bonsai
Joint Master: Left Ball, Song Bird
On Sec: Cili Padi
On Cash: Push Up
Committee members: Popeye, Silent Gorilla, Tan Sri, Lachar, Kim Chi and Fish Shit.
The election was over by 5.55PM and a big thank you to the AGM OC Lord for a well conducted AGM.
The newly elected GM called the On On at 6PM to signal the start of AGM Run. Thank you to Founder Gold Finger and Co-hare for setting the run.
Today's run was a relatively short run with a distance of about 4.0KM. From the Bird Park, the run follow the usual housing area towards Old Klang Road direction and cross a playing field and we begin the steep climb along the drain steps towards the HinduTemple. After the Temple, the trail turn right into the water reservoir area and a check was encounters and the check lead into the trail downhill towards the stream. There was a circular check after crossing the stream, and the connecting point was heading up the Hindu Temple again and turn right towards Telekom tower and down hill on the road back to the beer wagon.
