Bonsai was brought to Hash by his other half, Spicy Chili and had the first hash run with GH5 on 11 September 2001 at Ulu Langat Beer Garden. In the same year in December 2001, He joined PJ Hazards as a member and became the Grand Hazards of PJ Hazards in 2006-2008. His hash name was given by The Late Alex The Bear of PJ Hazards because Bonsai is short and exquisite!
Bonsai's actual name is Ng Boon Thiam and is in the Clinical Diagnostics business in SEA region for the past 25 years.

Today's circle started at 830PM with GM welcome the first time guests. Drainoil who has been hashing for 48 years were honored together with those who had hashed for more than 30 years such as Kangaroo, Coconut Colonel, Sperm perm, Messy, Mac Foong and Eric The Prick! Big hand to the evergreen hashers! Next the GM and reps of Kelang Hash, Kepong Hash, Hobblers, Puchong Hash, PJ Harriets, Hulu Langat , Batu Hash, FMC and Full Moon Hash were also given an on down. Co-OC for GH5 15th Anniversary Do Song Bird formally invited the various chapter GM to support our do. Dipstick, the only Bayee had the honored to start the icing. Next to honor were the Founders of GH5, namely Kangaroo, Gold Finger, Bull Dog and Hi-Lo. Bull Dog was iced when he reversed his 4x4 into the tent pole aand bend it. Long missing member of GH5 Lily and Golden Eyes were also given an on down and all the former Joint Mistress of GH5 , Sailor Moon, Loud Chic, Kirei Kimono, Spicy Cili and Song Bird were also given an on down. This was followed by the former Grand Master of GH5, Gold Finger, Kangaroo, Baby Monkey, Piss Stop and Hardcore who came for the run but left earlier due to other commitment. James Bonk was iced when he fell into the stream during the run and start to splash water on to others! Ham Tan of Kepong Hash announced Batu Hash Celebration run. The run rating was done by Titanic and he awarded a generous 9.0 points but question the GM if he has sufficient whisky for the night which landed him on the iced throne. JM Left Ball took the box and iced GM for serving Tiger Beer when the official beer is Carlsberg. GM was iced for receiving his new S-class and hope it will encourage members to strife hard and own one as well. Next on ice was Warlord and Tan Sri for posting pornographic video clips on GH5 chat group. Lucky Cock was iced when he commented the GH5 dancers make him vomit. Wood Pecker was iced when he was still talking about car engine on the run when it was already late. Mystery Whip today was Shitface and Piss Stop was iced when he make the complained never call ex GM for on down but it actually came later as the highlight! Shea kang and Huiyi was iced when they did not come out as first time guests. Dipstick was iced when he has yet to pay the guest fee but actually he is under Hulu Langat foc quota. GM took the box again and thank all those who came to support his run today and closed the circle. The fellowship continued until around 12 mid night.
