Run#693 Lambo aka Rambo at Pantai Hill Park.

Posted by The Incredible Hulk
Date: 08-May-2012
Run start time: 6pm sharp
Runners: 70
Distance: 6.2km as per Stiff Stick's Garmin GPS.
First runners: Ben and Big Mouth Monkey (7.15pm)
Last runner : 8.12pm
Hare : Lambo ;co-hare: Goldfinger and Fish Shit.
Run rating : MK did the run rating and gave it 6 points.

Today's hare is a yuppy mandarin who aspires to be canto pop singer Jacky Cheung, whose official hash name is 'Lambo', but thinks he is Rambo (he actually dresses like Rambo for some runs). What kind of event would a guy with such a mixed bag host?

As I drove to the run site, a convoy of  various vehicles surrounded the edge of the jungle transporting about 50 elite soldiers (strangely not in combat gear but hash shirts and attire) with supply of mineral water, Carlsberg, 100 plus and other rations. Then there was a familiar red special-purpose vehicle (made by a German sports car company) that transports AK47s for any jungle assault. Soon  Warlord@Colonel Trautman rushed to the scene to negotiate Rambo's surrender.

Red Special-purpose Vehicle used by AK47 (Joint-master)!

Warlord
Rambo to Warlord via transmission: "I could have killed 'em all, I could kill you. In town you're the law, out here  in the jungle  it's me. Don't push it. Don't push it or I'll give you a war you won't believe. Let it go. Let it go. ............They (Big mouth monkey, Ben, Yak and Bak kut Teh) drew first blood, not me."

Wong Ah Sing smiling away!!
So at 6pm sharp, Commander Ben, Big Mouth and the troops went into the jungle to hunt (or be hunted!). The weather was great and all the troops were keenly rushing in for the kill as if a huge bounty was placed on Rambo's head (eh! OnCash was the reward US$1m or 5 crates of beer?). The war that Rambo promised unveiled itself, all in there were 4 checks, 5 hills with the last one a real killer. The home path has Goldfinger's signature to it, coursing the jungle to Gasing Bird Park, then a run via the tar road and back to Pantai Hillpark through the jungle i.e. similar to 100 plus punya run lah!. It was a great work out. In the end we hunted down Rambo who gave us a nice shirt, great food and drinks. Thank you hare!
We shall now call him "Touch & Gold"

Our "pretty Aunties"
At the circle, next week's hare Yih Pyang was baptized  with the hash name ' Touch and Gold' i.e (Touch and Go) synonymous with his run and then 'go off' antic (tonight was the first time I had ever seen him attend a circle); in fact what a blessed name as everything he touches will now turn into 'gold'. The golden question now is whether Touch and Gold will attend the circle next week? Be there to find out! PS, and if he does, will the next circle he attends be in 24 months time he!he!.
