JungleMan's run #607 (Tmn Wawasan, Puchong)

Run Site

It's a long while that GH5 had a run here. The hills here are the remnants of the huge developments over the last 20 years in Puchong. It is still a vast forested area, though the highest point is only about 200 metres above sea level. (Car park is already 60 metres). However, the terrain, being undulating, provides runners with many hills to climb and valleys to dash down. Many small streams separate the slopes giving the forest an enchanted feel.

We remember the last run, also hosted by JungleMan, about18 months ago which ended disastrously. Could not find paper .. it was a F@#%$ run. This time around our Hare made sure he got it right!

The RUN

It was an averagely long run with 1st runner coming in just within the hour. Sweeper, Mr World came in around 7:45pm. It was cooling and misty inside the jungle and the trail took us up 2 hills. The 1st and 2nd checks were easy. However, the last check made the front runners going in cicles and took a while before Ben found the way out. This last check was good as it grouped most of the runners together.

The CIRCLE

As GM V-power was absent, our Joint-Master King Trucker took the box. Circle was called to order at 8:30pm. The next 3 runs were announced (refer Hare Queue on the right column). Virgin guests (1st timer) were introduced to the circle. Both Stumpy and Pauline were put on ice as they failed to introduce their guests to King Trucker earlier! But a big hand to them and other members who bring guests to our run ... this helps to generate some income lor....

The Co-hare Jungle Woman was subsequently put on ice as the Hare and her only made last minute preparations to get the beers and cold box!
Next was the evergreen Piss-stop on ice .. cos he frightened Loud Chick with the picture of a tongue. With GM V-power not around ... wah, it was party time man ... a few others were also on ice ... Tony Bak-kut-teh, Silent Gorilla, Mad Dog, Pussy Cat, Bak-kut-teh Heng - all for talking non-stop!! Then Push-up was next on ice for telling Yakitiyak that ChickadeChick is very "wai sek" (cantonese slang which means horny!??)

Other announcements:
Warlord informed circle that KH4 will be having a torch-light run this Friday (24th Sep) at 7:30pm.

Ben informed that Kaki Hash will be organising a CPR course on 2nd Oct. Contact Songbird if you are coming ..FOC, ya.  Dr Lord also took the box for some airtime.

Then it was a lantern race for MK Lim, Silent Gorilla, Stumpy and Mad Dog. They were made to run to collect a lantern and return to be fed with mooncake. Aiyoh, Mad Dog thought he was very fast but had a shock when eating the moocakes which were stuffed with wasabi!!

Wah, without GM around, very one took advantage ... wait till she comes back after her India trip ... King Trucker and MK, you are both the "Tai Kuai Thau"... I am an honest person as I pray to the Goddess of Mercy, Kuan Yin .. so am just giving an honest report only ma ....

On On Dinner

The generous Hare provided dinner on-site with plenty of Carlsberg and Heineken. Party ended at 11:15pm.
