Run # 752 at Agro Tech Park, Hulu Langat by Wildboar on 25th June rated 9 points by 100Plus,

Hare Corner:
Jaganathan A/L Jayraman is the name for cari makan but when come to Hash, Wildboar is THE name that everyone know who he is. Wildboar first ran with Damansara Hash in 1988. His Hash name was given by KH4 when he dashed and darted in the jungle exactly like a Wildboar when he was a much younger Boar then, nowadays he is very much a domesticated boar under the supervision of Lembek. Wildboar currently Hash with KH4, GH5, PJ Club Hash and Full Moon Hash. He is semi retired from Life Insurance profession, currently only work three days a week but Hash 6-7 times a week. Almost 90% of his week end is at some Hash Celebration event around the country and the world. A dedicated Hash Bard in GH5 with many repertoire of songs and he is a gentle and considerate hash man.

With the Haze PSI at dangerously high level, there were about 30 die-hard (heart) and die-"lung' turned up for the run. Wildboar was most appreciative in his Hare speech and go around thanking everyone personally for showing up for his run. Today's run site is almost a new run site for most of the GH5 members as it has been a long time the last time GH5 had a run here. The in trail crossed the road and immediately ascend to 220M elevation to the top of the transmission tower, from here the trail heads into the rubber plantation and tracked along the road for about 1KM when the first checked was encountered and the connecting trail was down to a stream and up again on the rubber plantation terrace, after another 1KM along the terraces, we emerged along the service road and Wildboar was there to direct traffic for the "short run hashers" to take a short cut back , the trail went up hill for about 200M elevation and emerged at a clearing for future development and finally reached the tarmac road and another 3Km to the beer wagon. The total distance for the short run was about 7Km and 9KM for the long run.

Let your imagination runs wild...............dirty mind.................soil erosion lah.

Ideal retirement home

The circle started with Lembek on the ice throne for the appearance of Styrofoam plate, someone commented it is because Hi-Lo was not present and Styrofoam appeared. However as a responsible and Eco-friendly hasher, (ALL OF US MUST CONSCIOUSLY AND CONSISTENTLY MAKE EFFORT NOT TO USE ANY STYROFOAM PLATE EVEN IT IS THERE OR ELSE WE DEFEAT THE TAG LINE OF "ECO-FRIENDLY HASH" THE ONLY POSSIBLE EXCEPTION IS FOR THE GUESTS TO USE THE STYROFOAM PROVIDED BY THE CATERED. IDEALLY WHEN YOU INVITE A GUESTS, DO REMEMBER TO BRING EXTRA SET OF PLATE OR BOWL and HASH T-SHIRT FOR THEM OR REMIND THEM TO DO SO" THIS PRACTICE SHOULD AND MUST COME FROM WITHIN AND NOT BECAUSE SOME MEMBERS TOLD US TO DO SO. THE SAME APPLIES TO RECYCLING OF ALUMINIUM CANS AND MINERAL BOTTLES.)
Next on ice throne was guests Stella for not wearing  hash t-shirt during the run and went to Ulu Langat instead of Hulu Langat. (Once again it is important all members must wear hash t-shirt for others to identified you in case we need to help each other along the trail , this is especially true when we are running at high traffic area such as Gasing Hill, TTDI or Cheras Awana, some times we do not know if the person is our member or guests)
Our frequent guests Sanwat was given the box and he gave some advice on hash-tiquette when front runner approached a check, one should always call checking so that whoever is at their position can start to check instead of waiting for back runner to arrive, as the check could be in any direction. Let's adhere to hashing spirit and it is not about who emerged first. As usual our JM Yak was preaching what is hashing all about. Tan Sri 902 was iced for taking a long and wrong time to come to the run site. Wildboar was called by the Whip Bonsai for an on down for waiting at half way point to ensure all slower runners took the short trail. 100 Plus was given an on down for being the Mr Nice guy who is ever ready to help and be the sweeper and even save a 6 inches centipede being fried for finger food. Soh Miow Miow was iced for reporting to duty late when she was still putting on make-up when circle was called. Ruth and Kim Chi was fidgeting with the mobile phone when they could not answer why Soh Miow Miow was on iced. Lastly Yak was iced by GM  when he declared we must addressed everyone by their hash name and he called "Jerry" instead of 100Plus.
Big hand to Wildboar for free beer from beer wagon and more beers from the coolers and plenty of Tosai, fried chicken, sambal eggs and mutton. Most members enjoyed the serenity and cooling  surrounding and  felt the drive was worth it. Big hand to Wildboar and Lembek!

GM, watch where you are scratching!
