Hare Corner:
Yap Long Chon definitely sounds like "Long John" though we never sighted the real "Johnny" but it is good enough to be his hash name. Long John was brought to GH5 by Blur-blur and this is his second time being a hare and so he has been with GH5 for about three years now, his inaugural hash run was at Sunway Technology Park. Long John only runs with GH5. He is a developer and contractor as well and his housing projects are mainly in Shah Alam U12/Bukit Raja area. So if anyone looking to invest in a property in this vincinity, please talk to him. Thanks to Long John for the free flow of beers from beer wagon to the restaurant, the towels and the specially prepared dishes from Loong Zhong Wu Restaurant. Big hand!
Yes, I confirmed I am Long John! |

Run scribe by Lord Kris:
What started off as the usual trail passing the usual back streets of the double storey link houses and the playground soon took a different route. We had to go through a hash made hole in the fence into the forbidden bunglow reserved land which was at one time the most talked about area.
The trail was moderate at first through the jungle trail. As we proceeded further it went higher and higher until we reached an opening. Walla.....open area where there was total destruction of our once favourite jungle. The land has been cleared for development. The trail took us through this clearing which on one hand as i felt sad to loose our usual jungle but what can be done. That is the price we have to pay for development.
From there the trail went back into the jungle. This was to my excitement as we could smell the grenery. The trail again was moderate and slowly became steep until we reached the top. This lead us to Pantai Dalam where the water tank is. As we exit the jungle onto the tarmac road it was time to take a breather. Phew......
A short distance on the road we went into the jungle again which took us into the famous gasing hill. From there on it was a walk in the park. I enjoyed the trail from here on as it was the usual most used trail which i have been many many many runs.
Just as we were about to exit the trail went up the steep hill towards the temple. This was the last uphill trail which i thought was interesting to burn the last ounces of fat.
From there on it was all the way onto the tarmac road all the way to the bird park.
I would say the trail was moderate, not as challanging but gave me the much needed fat burn.....i have been not running for some time.
