FACTS
Many ancient civilizations have consumed fresh placenta to rejuvenate their body and retain youth and vitality. Modern day placenta therapy was popularized by Dr.Niehan’s in Switzerland who administered “live” placenta cell injection therapy to thousands of patients since the 1930’s. The therapy is carried out in Clinic La Prairie with prior medical assessment and constant supervision, throughout the duration of the injection period. Today, there are many beauty saloons offering these injections (sheep or human). This practice is dangerous as the therapists are not trained to perform these injections and any complications that might arise. Also the injections, since they are not registered with BPFK, have not undergone any testing and thus may have a high hormone content, the cells may not be bioactive (dead) or contain diseases like Hepatitis, Foot and Mouth or mad Cow Disease.

With freeze-drying technology (-60ÂșC for an hour), the placenta cells and cellular elements can be preserved and remain bioactive for several years. Thus the treatment is available in capsule form. Make sure the placenta extract is registered and tested for hormones.

CLAIMED BENEFITS
  • Cell nourishment, revitalization and rejuvenation
  • Improved complexion, removal of lines and wrinkles
  • Improved stamina, endurance and mental alertness

RIGHT AMOUNT
Sheep Placenta Extract 100-200 mg of “live cells” extract daily. Extract is the best as cells are actually extracted compared to other forms. But not worth buying a placenta product >RM160.00 (30 capsules) as anything else is over price regardless of claims or strength.

Live Cell Therapy
Dr. Paul Niehan, who discovered the benefits of live cell therapy quite by accident, propagated modern day live cell therapy. In 1931,  Niehans was consulted by a medical colleague who had accidentally removed a patient’ s parathyroid glands during the course of thyroid surgery. So vital are the parathyroid glands to life that the woman was unlikely to survive the day without them. A successful transplant was the only chance the surgeon had of saving her. So Niehans, who had a reputation for therapeutically transplanting organs and glands, was called in.

On his way to the hospital, Niehans stopped off at the abattoir, where animals he used in his revitalization experiments were slaughtered. He obtained fresh parathyroid glands from a steer and proceeded to the hospital, fully intending to perform a parathyroid transplant.

However, when Niehans arrived, one look at the patients – who was violently convulsing – told him that there was simply not enough time to perform the operation. The woman would not survive long enough.

But Niehan had an idea. He sliced up the parathyroid glands and suspended it in a saline solution and injected it into the critically ill woman. Immediately, her convulsions ceased. Her condition improved and she recovered to live another 30 years, well into her 90’ s.

Many years later Niehan wrote, “I thought the effect would be short-lived, just like the effect of an injection of hormones, and that I should have to repeat the injection. But, to my great surprise, the injection of fresh cells not only failed to provoke a reaction but the effect lasted, and longer than any synthetic hormone, any implant or any surgical graft.”

Thus cell therapy was born and thousands have received live cell injections at his Clinic La Prairie in Montreaux, Switzerland.
