Run#728 Kangaroo@ Gasing Bird Park

Add caption

There are over 60 species of kangaroos, and their life span varies according to their species. The larger species live the longest, and their average life expectancy in the wild is 10 - 15 years. In captivity, some species have been said to live to 20 years or more. They usually have a life span of about 9-18 years, but may live to be up to 28 years old.

Our co-founder has outlived all the kangaroos known to mankind. Apparently he attributes it to his healthy diet. He "eats, roots and leaves (bye bye)".

Eats, roots and leaves

Yes, he is just lazing around these days and not hopping  around anymore, hence the flab.

Here in an outback song from the bush (press Skip Ad) for our jolly swagman and his wife "Matilda"

Lyrics
Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong
Under the shade of a coolibah tree,
And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled:
"Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me?"

Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me
And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled:
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me."

Down came a jumbuck to drink at that billabong.
Up jumped the swagman and grabbed him with glee.
And he sang as he shoved that jumbuck in his tucker bag:
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me."

Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me",
And he sang as he shoved that jumbuck in his tucker bag:
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me."

Up rode the squatter, mounted on his thoroughbred.
Down came the troopers, one, two, and three.
"Whose[N 1] is that jumbuck you've got in your tucker bag?
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me."

Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me",
"Whose is that jumbuck you've got in your tucker bag?
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me."

Up jumped the swagman and sprang into the billabong.
"You'll never take me alive!" said he
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by that billabong:
"Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me?"

Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me",
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by that billabong:
"Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me?"

Well the swagman set a good run. It was true to what a family hash run should be. The run was 5.7 km and all completed the run, including all those who usually short cut and the guests.

Cucumber aka Cili Padi gave the run 9 points. Piss Stop accused the hare of bribing Cucumber lol! The circle was another lengthy episode!

Dinner was at nearby Kam Kee. Tq Kangaroo for the night!
