This run has everything .... fantastic track inside the jungle, good weather throughout, plenty of claypot chicken rice, cabbage, beers and excellent fellowship.
Run statistics:
Distance: 7.5km
Elevation: Run site 86 metres, Peak 381 metres.
Basically a one hill run. The initial trail was a 800 metres run across the park. Then it was an abrupt left turn to enter the jungle. The trail took us uphill all the way for at least 2.5km before reaching the peak. Many had to take short breaks as this hill was very steep in some parts. Anyway, this is FRIM, ok ... not an easy jungle to tackle.
Thereafter it was downhill and then over undulating grounds before getting back to the park.
Front runners came back in 1 hr 25mins. Average time for most hashers was 2 hrs.
