Run Site
This is the run site (see map below) We don't know how the Hares manage to get this place, but parking facility was perfect. It's at the school car park! But Baby Monkey gave the guard only a small "Ang Pow", that explains no lighting facility. The circle got to be conducted in total darkness!!

A double-track footpath initially greeted us and then it was into uncharted territory. The trail took us uphill all the way for the next 20 minutes till the top where the Hares laid their 1st check. The front-runners subsequently discovered that it was a back-check.
The paper trail then continued down a very very steep slope. Everyone got to hang on to trees, roots, branches and whatever is available to steady themselves on this descent. Not much vegetation on the ground and the dark sandy soil made it more slippery. PushUp was sliding down on her backside all the way. Yong and Baby Crocodile held on to some vines for support. It was tough but very interesting.
Watch out! Don't hold me! |
