The Run Site
It has been a while since we last hashed here. Lots of developments with surrounding shop-lots and residential houses completed, albeit with many unoccupied. The road leading to the run site has also been tarred. Parking was fantastic at the end of the "Jalan Mati", complete with street lights. Hi-Lily's run today was highly anticipated, what more with her hubby Hi-Low as the co-hare (or rather the master-mind). She must have prayed hard this morning as the weather God kept it perfect the whole day.Co-hare : Hi Lo

Who Coming?
More than 50 Gasing members and some 10 guests set the trail blazing at 6 pm when our GM V-power signaled the On-On Call. Some lost and found members such as Buffalo Gum Simon, Stumpy and Dennis also came. The Run
The hills at Kinrara are challenging with steep gradients and streams cutting across deep valleys. Although the highest point is slightly above 200 metres, the hills cover a significant area and hares have been known to set long runs here.As we entered the in-trail, Hi-Low was seen coming out from the far end. It must not be that tough, we thought, since he was already out at this hour! The hare must have restrained him the previous nite ...
The trail took us through some "lallangs", then up a bit of slope where the front runners found the 1st check. Prince Charming Ben, Lucky Cock Heng, Big mouth monkey Derrick took just a short time to break that check and papers were connected for the back runners. Stumpy was trekking behind at a slow pace, apparently not fit after having gone MIA for so long.
Thereafter, it was down hill and then up another steep gradient. This ascent took most of us at least 10 mins before we reached the top. GM was already up there shouting encouraging words that we’ve reached the “highway”. But alas, a short right we found ourselves having to tackle yet another slope. Halfway, some were seen hanging onto trees and branches, taking a break!
Subsequently, the paper trail took us up and down 2 more hills, amidst thorns and steep 60 degree slopes, and passing by 2 streams. The run was well set with path meandering through the woods, up almost vertical inclines and down some new footpaths. There were altogether 4 checks which were averagely easy, though the 3rd check had Ben running the wrong way. The 2nd stream was a muddy, muddy one. The river bed was soft and all of us had our shoes stuck in it. Iron Lady Irene took her time to wash her shoes but found it redundant as the muddy trail continues after crossing the stream.
The out trail was sighted only after a slight uphill climb. Thereafter it was out on gravel path which eventually led us to civilization…
FRB with Ben leading the way was out at 7:06pm while the group of back runners (Push-up Irene, Kimono Winnie, Kai Si Wong, Heart breaker Sharon, Loud Chick Nancy, Puan Sri Jessica and sweeper King Trucker Khoo) reported to base at 8 pm. Run rating 8.5 by Chicka-dee-chick.
The Circle
Circle started at 9 pm. GM spoke briefly of the KH4 unfortunate fatal incident last Friday, 18th June, where the life of a lady guest was unfairly taken away. A minute of silence was observed as a mark of respect.
Next 3 runs
GM announced the next 3 runs .. Push-up Joanne at Sunway Damansara Technology Park .. Baby Monkey in Klang somewhere near to Bak-kut-teh Heng's shop (also include Pub visit along the trail.) ... Jungle Woman (where AH??!?)
The F and B (food and beers, betul?)
Hi-Lily was ever the gracious Hare serving the usual water-melons, chai-kueh, other kuehs (don't know their names la) and groundnuts.
And it was nasi lemak, with kembong fish, curry chicken for dinner. Hi-Lily, we thank you for feeding us so well. No wonder most of us cannot reduce weight after hashing ... um they say masturbating can control your weight, guess must quietly ask Wild Boar later?!
**REMINDER** Please bring own cutlery, otherwise gotta use beer carton boxes or own palm as plates!
There were plenty of beers and cock and bull stories the whole night. Mad Dog brought out his "Dimple" whisky surrounded by his 3 Cats. Of course Silent Gorilla was also there sitting next to the girls.
Unfortunately half-way through the camaraderie session, the 3 Cats went off with Mad Dog shouting for them to come back. Mad Dog forewarned the 3 Cats that if they did not come back at once, he will not entertain them when they "chow sway" (in English it means on HEAT!). The 3 Cats drove back at once .. Mad Dog, you are hell of a dog!! They said he is "Hoe Yeah", but rightfully it is "Yeah Hoe". We'll get the ladies to check it out at the next run!!
You guys must be wondering why me (Hong Kee) worked overtime to write this scribe immediately after the run? Well, there's a committee meeting the next day, Wednesday, 23rd June and I've not done my work the last 3 months. Takut kena @#*$% mah! Committee members, pls forgive me and let me have my Whiskey, ya ..
To be continued .......
Virgin Guests
Bagman, Leather-back, ChowReturning Guests
Tony Bak-kut-teh, Dave, .....Whose Ass kena Iced?
Tony Bak-kut-eh for not listening while GM was on the box, Piss Stop - aiyah, he sat on ice just to have some free beer la, James Bonk - lost his deck chair, later found by Ronnie Blur-blur, GM for not taking back her "spot-light" at the last run, Stumpy for pooh-poohing inside the jungle, Dave for impersonating an Indian calling himself Daveraja, KingTrucker Khoo for not giving his guests Hash T-shirts to wear, Lembek for telling people her hubby Wild Boar masturbated at the car park ....The F and B (food and beers, betul?)
