Today GH5 celebrated the 56th year of independence of Malaysia with a Freedom Run. It was well attended by members and 10 guests. The OC for this celebration run is Wild Boar and assisted by Lembek and other committee members. Big Hand to GM for the Whisky and the other sponsors namely V Power, Wildboar, Lembeh, Left Balls, Tan Sri, Yakitiyak and Sanwat for various sponsorship. Also big hand to those who organize the beer, water and etc due to absent of beer men and also to all members who make the event a success!
Today's run site is the first time for GH5, the drive to the run site from Ampang direction was rewarded with stunning view of KL skyline. The run started towards the veggie farm, go pass the Bangla Bungalow, crossing a drain and immediate steep ascend up to 252M for the first KM track, after that it was a steep descend most of the way with a few stream crossing for another 2KM and we emerged at the veggie farm next to the restaurant. The total length was 3KM and first runner was out by 60 minutes or so and all hashers were out by 740PM.
Members please be reminded to be responsible for your guests you bring to the club and ensure their guests fee are paid up, we had encountered guests who were unfit to complete the run and also not paying the guest fee voluntarily.
The circle started with the singing of Negara Ku and flag waiving by GM and JM and the blast of firecraker
Long John, BengCock and Titanic were suppose to be the sweeper but they have no ideal where was the in trail and led GM and a few members into the home trail instead. Long John was ice due to popularity request. Prince Charming pushed GM down the box and was iced for no manners. GM being an experience hasher was iced by Yak for not knowing the in trail. BMM was iced for not taking care of his guests. Buzzard Shitface iced Titanic for not knowing how many guests showed up for today's run. Wild Boar was iced for leaving Lembek alone last week and went for the Batang run instead. Baby Crocodile, Silent Gorilla and Cartoon were called up to compare their similarity and it was concluded they all like the beers in the region. Bijis was iced for being KCP when he commented unnecessarily.

8 tables of sumptuous Thai food were served for all the members to enjoy and plenty of Whisky and Beer as well. Big hand to the OC and all those who contributed.
